It's Done! One Christmas present done and ........

Well we will not even talk about how many to go! I have decided that I will be sharing a new project every week probably on Fridays. What do you think of Frilly Fridays?? I will do a tutorial of some kind and show a Christmas present or, project of some kind every week. This one is going to be a special present for a very special person. I am going to fill it with pictures and I will keep pictures to show you after Christmas of it all filled and that way you can see it in all its glory lol. I Made It!!!

The Huge "Mini" is Done!!!!!

Hi Friends!
I wanted to show you this gorgeous mini I created for Charity at A Lil Scrap of Heaven. We are doing Cynthialoowho's swap and she requested the 5 and dime paper. As you all know I am kind of a deep colors, vintage lover so bright and cheerful scared me to death........ However, I love it! This was the funnest project I have done so far bar none! It just kept growing and I could not leave anything out! I really do think it is very very nice.

I am entering this in the Design Team call for Alilscrapofheaven.ning so wish me luck. I hope you enjoy this. I am really thinking of making a few kits so if you would be interested let me know!

Sweet Photo Box

Hi! I created this little photo box for my first design team project for The Altered Page. It was alot of fun and actually very quick and easy. Some time ago, on a fishing trip with my husband, I was crocheting and I started creating these little oval frames with eyelet edging to insert trim into. I have made them in several sizes and just love how they turned out. Today I put some ribbon through this one and fell in love. The colors went together so well and it was just very very pretty. I mixed paint to match the ribbon, painted and modpodged the box in and out, made a little saying cut it out, blinged it up and slipped it on top of the photo here slot and Wa-La! sweet little box. Lot's of fun and so quick and easy, I would like to encourage everyone to come over to thealteredpage.ning.com and see what we are up to. I am going to host an altered box swap over there so come and join me!
